Working at Margulies Perruzzi

We are always looking for talented professionals; we do not hire for specific project requirements. Instead, we seek to build our staff by selecting professionals who can make a long-term impact on how we work. Margulies Perruzzi has a welcoming atmosphere with friendliness and collegiality firm-wide, across generations. Our culture is inclusive, energetic, and built on respect for people’s individual perspectives and professional contributions. The firm’s leadership is recognized for their ability to holistically support team members…and have fun! We laugh and enjoy our time together inside and outside the office.

We invite you to explore what is possible through the power of design. We have our eyes on the future…if you do as well, let’s talk!

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

MP was founded on strong beliefs around acceptance and belonging within our community. Our goal is to be a diverse workforce that is representative, at all levels, of the diversity in our region.

  • We encourage applications from all individuals, and particularly from Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), women, and other underrepresented groups. Our staff comprises over 70% women, and more than 50% of MP’s ownership is held by women.
  • We are committed to affirmative action and equal opportunity hiring based not only on qualifications but also on potential. Recently, we participated in the Boston Women’s Workforce Council (BWWC) 2025 Gender and Racial Wage Gaps Measurement program as part of our commitment to lessening the pay inequity impacting women, particularly women of color.
  • We are dedicated to partnering with minority- and women-owned businesses, from office vendors to project consultants, and take steps daily to continue developing and nurturing these important relationships.
  • We are committed to using our platform within the industry to promote and amplify the voices of BIPOC individuals in the design, construction, and real estate fields.
  • We aim to support and advance diversity in the architecture and design profession. We established the Margulies Perruzzi Diversity in Design Scholarship with Boston Architectural College to be awarded to underrepresented minorities with high financial aid needs pursuing an architecture or interior design degree at the BAC.
  • We prioritize representing our community by featuring diversity within our work, including renderings, project photography, and marketing collateral.
  • We are devoted to our continued education as individuals, as a company, and as members of the design community. As a firm, we completed several professional learning sessions to educate employees about diversity.
