Margulies Perruzzi has collaborated with Gunderson Dettmer, an international law firm, for over 12 years, providing architectural and interior design services. This partnership has included several phases of office expansion on multiple floors at their location at One Marina Park Drive, Boston, MA.
The MP team recently completed an expansion of their offices and a renovation of adjacent meeting and gathering spaces that offer stunning views of the Boston Seaport. Since the gathering space includes a large front-facing ‘concierge area’ for clients and guests, MP took special care to ensure the design reflected the Gunderson Dettmer brand. This striking space was designed to complement the existing color palette while providing a new, high-end feel. The thematic feel of the space aimed to be modern, neutral, and understated. The concierge area features a large kitchen and lounge designed for hosting events and gatherings. The space also includes two conference rooms: one existing room and another with a telescoping wall that allows the concierge space to expand for added square footage.
Completed at the end of 2024, this space has hosted numerous events and meetings, receiving praise from partners, staff, visitors, and clients alike for its versatility and style.
