Marc founded Margulies Perruzzi (then Margulies & Associates) in 1988, growing it into an award-winning, technologically sophisticated firm. In addition to his professional focus, Marc has been deeply involved in community and philanthropic endeavors. Marc is on the Board of Heading Home and has led the design of five homeless shelters. He founded the Boston Area Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) in 1984, and is on the boards of CoreNet, NAIOP, Boys and Girls Club of Boston, and North Bennett Street School.

As a principal of the firm, Dan is responsible for overall project and administrative management. His number one advice to peers in the architecture industry is to get involved with the BSA (Boston Society of Architects); he's currently serving as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors. An active member of the BSA since 1984, Dan has served the organization in many capacities through the years, including board member, committee chair, task force contributor, award juror, and on the editorial board of ArchitectureBoston, a quarterly publication of the Boston Society of Architects/AIA.

As a project manager and designer with over 12 years of experience, Cynthia is known for her attention to detail on every project. She has also designed and specified lighting on multiple large-scale projects, producing well lit spaces with energy consumption below code requirements that directly provide substantial savings to the owners. Cynthia has also been one of MPA’s driving forces in ensuring the firm-wide usage of the most current software both for design and construction management.

As an experienced job captain, Cindy is responsible for document production and coordination, as well as contributing to the design of the project.
